Grant trusted roles the ability to bypass Forum Crown restrictions like filters and automod.
Staff Roles are Discord roles that have elevated permissions within Forum Crown. Members with these roles bypass Forum Crown's automated restrictions and can post freely in forum channels without interference.
Go to the Staff Roles tab and select roles from the dropdown. All roles in your server will appear in the list with their color indicators. Select one or more roles to designate as staff.
Members with a designated staff role bypass: word filter checks, automod rules (min/max length, duplicate titles, attachment requirements, thread limits), and Special Tag access restrictions.
Add your Moderator, Admin, or trusted community roles here. Avoid adding @everyone or roles given to all members, as that would effectively disable all restrictions for your entire community.
Staff Roles also appear in Special Tags — the staff_only behavior restricts threads to members with these roles.
You can add as many staff roles as you need. Any member who has at least one of the designated staff roles will be granted bypass privileges across all Forum Crown features.
