Get alerted in a text channel whenever a new forum post is created.
Notifications send an alert to a designated channel whenever a new forum post is created. This keeps your team or community informed without needing to constantly check every forum.
Go to the Notifications tab and select a text channel where notifications should be sent. Then select which forum channels should trigger notifications. Save your settings.
Each notification includes the post title, author, and a link to the post. On Premium, you can customize the notification embed with a custom message and color.
Only text channels (not forum channels) appear in the notification channel dropdown. Make sure Forum Crown has permission to send messages and embed links in the selected channel.
You can have notifications triggered from multiple forum channels all going into the same notification channel, or configure different notification setups per forum.
