New to Forum Crown? Start here. Set up the bot on your server in just a few minutes.
Click the "Invite Bot" button on the Forum Crown home page. A Discord authorization window will open — select your server from the dropdown menu and click Authorize. Make sure all permissions are checked so the bot can function correctly.
You need the "Manage Server" permission in the server to invite bots.
Go back to the Forum Crown site and click "Login with Discord". Authorize the app — this only requests permission to see your username and server list, nothing else. You'll be taken to your server list.
Only servers where you have "Manage Server" permission will be shown.
From the server list, find your server (shown with a green indicator if the bot is already added) and click on it. This takes you to the dashboard for that server.
If your server doesn't appear, click the Refresh button — it also updates automatically when you switch back to the tab.
In the General tab, find the "Forum Channels" setting. Click the dropdown and select each forum channel you want Forum Crown to monitor. Only Discord Forum Channel types will appear here.
You can select multiple forum channels at once.
Make sure the main "Enabled" toggle in the General tab is switched on. This activates Forum Crown for your server. If it's off, no features will run even if they are configured.
Click the "Save" button in the General tab. A green notification will appear confirming the settings were saved. Your changes take effect immediately for all new forum posts.
Each tab has its own Save button — remember to save after making changes in any section.
Now that the basics are configured, explore the other tabs to set up features. A great first feature to try is Auto-Reactions — go to the Reactions tab, add a 👍 emoji, and save. Every new forum post will get that reaction automatically.
