Conditions

Add reactions based on smart rules — trigger different emoji sets when a post meets specific criteria.

What are Conditions?

Conditions let you configure extra reactions that are only added to a thread when a specific rule is met. Unlike standard Auto-Reactions which apply to every post, Conditions are triggered selectively based on who posted, what tags are applied, or what the post contains.

Trigger Types

Each condition has one trigger type. By Role: fires if the thread author has a specific Discord role. By User: fires for a specific user ID. By Tag: fires if the thread has a specific forum tag applied. By Word: fires if the thread title or body contains a specific keyword.

💡

Conditions are evaluated at the moment a thread is created. Tag-based conditions check the tags applied on post creation.

Setting Up a Condition

Go to the Conditions tab in the dashboard, select a forum channel, choose a trigger type, enter the target value (role ID, user ID, tag name, or keyword), and select up to 5 reactions for that condition. Click Save when done.

Reaction Limit per Condition

Each condition can trigger up to 5 unique reactions. These are added in addition to the forum's standard Auto-Reactions, so a post can receive both the default reactions and the condition-specific ones.

Condition Limits by Tier

Free servers can create up to 2 conditions per forum. Boost Premium raises this to 3 conditions per forum. Paid Premium allows up to 20 conditions per forum.

Stacking Conditions

Multiple conditions can apply to the same post if more than one rule matches. For example, if a post matches a "By Role" condition and a "By Tag" condition, reactions from both will be added.
