Limit how often members can post in forum channels to prevent spam.
Cooldowns limit how often a single member can create new forum posts. This prevents spam and encourages members to think carefully before posting.
In the Cooldowns tab, enter a time in minutes. After a member creates a forum post, they must wait this long before they can create another one. Set to 0 to disable cooldowns entirely.
Select roles that should bypass the cooldown. Moderators, staff, or trusted members can be given these roles so they can post without wait restrictions.
When a member hits the cooldown, Forum Crown deletes their post and sends them a message. You can customize this message to let them know how long they need to wait and where else they can engage.
Cooldowns apply to the forum channels you've selected in General settings. Members on cooldown in one forum won't be blocked from posting in a different forum channel.
